Note: All Scripture quotations found in this article are from the text of the Authorized King James Version of the Bible.
God will not get under the microscope for "educated" scientists to find Him, but He has revealed Himself to man in two ways. These two ways are called General Revelation and Special Revelation.
1. General Revelation is God revealing Himself through the creation of the world.
Psalms 36:5 "Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds. 6 Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast."
Here David looks at creation and sees God and His power all over it. Only a fool can look at creation and not see God.
Psalms 14:1 "The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.."
The Atheists and Evolutions do not see God because they are not looking for God, nor do they want to find Him because they want to be their own authority.
The first law of Thermodynamics tells us that it is scientifically impossible to get something from nothing. The second law tells us that everything wears out overtime.
With those laws in mind there are four possible views for the creation of the universe.
1. It came from nothing accidentally.
2. It has always been here.
3. It is an illusion.
4. It came into being supernaturally.
The fourth view is the only possible scientific explanation when one considers the laws of Thermodynamics.
The Cosmological argument states that since there is a creation, there must be a creator, just like if there was a painting, there must be a painter. It is completely foolish and unscientific to think that something came from nothing. There are many other arguments for the existense of God if one wants to study more about the subject, such as the Telelogical argument, Congruity argument, Anthropological argument, Ontological arguement, Intuitional argument and finally the Scriptural argument.
Psalms 19:1 "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. 2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. 3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. 4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, 5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. 6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof. 7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple."
Examples of General Revelation: The sun is a type of Jesus Christ, the moon is a type of the Church and the stars are a picture of soul winners. (Revelation 1:12-16, Psalms 84:10-11, 89:37, John 9:4, Song of Solomon 6:10, Daniel 12:3)
2. The second way God has revealed Himself is by Special Revelation, which is God revealing Himself through His written scripture.
Psalms 19:7 "The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. 8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. 9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. 10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. 11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward. 12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults. 13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression. 14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer."
God has revealed Himself in scripture by the following ways:
The Angel of the Lord, the Burning Bush, the Pillar of Cloud and Fire, the Ministry of the Prophets and Apostles, Jesus Christ, the Church and the scriptures(now the AV1611).
God has revealed Himself by creation and scripture, but it is important to know that God wants us to walk by faith(2 Cor. 5:7). We can debate the existence of God and prove Evolutionists wrong over and over, but at the end of the day it all comes down to having childlike faith.
Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."
