This is a short article exposing Catholicism, which is full of evil man made tradition.
During Mass Catholics believe that the wine and bread actually turn into Christ’s body and blood. This is no where taught in the Bible, in fact the Bible makes it very clear that it is symbolic and done in remembrance of Him.
1 Corinthians 11:24 “And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.”
We also know that the wine does not turn into Christ’s blood because the Bible forbids drinking blood.
Acts 15:29 “That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.”

Catholics repeatedly sacrifice Jesus Christ over and over again at Mass, yet the Bible says that Jesus was offered ONCE for all.
Hebrews 10:10 “By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.”
The Catholic church teaches that Mary was not a sinner, but the Bible shows us that she was in fact a sinner, just like the rest of us.
Mary called God her Saviour. If she wasn’t a sinner then why would she call Him her Saviour?
Luke 1:47 “And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.”
Then in the next verse, you see her going for her purification. Purification for what? HER SINS.
Luke 2:22 “And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord;”
Catholics also teach that Mary was a virgin after the birth of Jesus Christ. The Bible shows us that she had other children though.
Matthew 13:55 “Is not this the carpenter’s son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? 56 And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?”
Notice that Jesus is called Mary’s FIRSTBORN SON.
Matthew 1:25 “And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.”

The Catholic church teaches that Mary is a Mediator between God and man, yet the Bible tells us that Jesus Christ is the ONLY mediator.
1 Timothy 2:5 “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;”
Catholics teach that Mary is the “Mother of God”, when she is only the mother of Jesus Christ’s HUMANITY. If she was the “Mother of God”, then that contradicts the below verses that state that God created all things, including Mary.
Colossians 1:16 “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.”
The Catholic church is full of idolatry, including image worship. Scripture is strictly against image worship.
Exodus 20:4 “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;”
Also see Revelation 14:11.
The Catholic church also teaches about a place called Purgatory where people burn until their sins have been “purged”. I have yet to find this in scripture though. The Bible teaches us that the Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from ALL SIN. So you are either go to Heaven or Hell, there is no in between.
1 John 1:7 “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”
At the Judgement Seat of Christ, the Christian’s works will be tried in fire, but it is clear that he is saved from the fire.
1 Corinthians 3:15 “If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.”
Catholics believe the Apocrypha books are inspired, but if one was to study out the subject they would see that the Apocrypha has no place in the Bible. Without getting very in depth I will give some reasons the Apocrypha is rejected.
They were not included in the original Old Testament preserved by the Jews, nor were they written in Hebrew. The Apocrypha claims no inspiration and never makes statement such as, “thus saith the Lord”. It also contains teachings that go contrary to the word of God, such as reincarnation, magic, alms forgives sins, prayers for the dead and also contains historical errors.
Catholics also go against scripture when they call their priest "Father". The below verse means in the spiritual sense, not the physical sense of a biological father.
Matthew 23:9 "And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven."
Christian, if you have Catholic friends that hold to Catholic doctrine, you need to realize that when they die they are going to a burning Hell.
The Catholic church teaches that salvation is by faith + works, such as infant baptism, keeping sacraments, church membership, going to mass, praying to Mary, confession and that is just a few.
The ONLY way to be saved now is by realizing you are a sinner and putting your trust in Jesus Christ alone to save you. Salvation is by faith + nothing.
Ephesians 2:8 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
Romans 4:5 “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.”
If you have any REAL love in your heart, please witness to your Catholic friends. Show them the TRUTH with God’s word using discernment and much prayer. Just imagine them at the White Throne judgment getting ready to be thrown into the Lake of Fire, looking at you and remembering day after day, time after time when you kept your mouth shut about the gospel. You could have warned them, but you did not want to offend them. Please be a true friend and tell them how to saved according to God’s word!
Jude 1:23 “And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.”
